We have more than 30 years of experience in the wind turbine industry, ever since the Danish wind turbine industry boomed in California. During those years, many Danish wind turbines were erected in California. After that, the turbines had to be maintained, and there was also a task in training the American technicians in servicing the wind turbines.
We have traveled to and worked on Nordex turbines all over the world: Denmark, USA, Australia, Uruguay, Israel, Germany, Japan etc., and have extensive experience in the work of getting a wind turbine up in a short time (and saving crane costs) as well as the special work of collaborating with the local techincians.
Decowicon only uses highly qualified technicians who have at least 10 years of experience with wind turbines. Our technicians have all been part of “the old Nordex”, then located in Give, and thus they have experience specifically on the Nordex wind turbines.
The name Decowicon stands for: development, construction, wind industry and consulting.
We develop improvements to the turbines. We offer improvements that better the turbine’s operating conditions and thus extend its lifetime.
We prepare condition reports and other reports, for example for use in insurance cases.
We specialize in Nordex wind turbines and have many years of experience in the wind industry.
We have many years of experience in the special task of transport and installation of wind turbines.
Decowicon has a growing number of international customers in countries such as Germany, Greece, Sweden, the U.S.A., Australia, Spain, Poland, India, Israel and others.
Naturally, we do not just jump in the car and drive off from Denmark to i.e. Greece to replace a switch. Often it is done in the way that we do “troubleshooting” with the customer by phone or mail – and send the necessary spare parts by courier. We also carry out remote monitoring on turbines located abroad.
But when it comes to regular service visits, it is possible to plan the trips carefully in advance.
